Technology can be great...when it's working correctly. The things that we can do from home using a computer are pretty amazing, and are often taken for granted. Being able to send pictures to relatives around the world instantly, communicate with whomever you want easily, find any information you could possibly need, and do shopping or pay bills online are just a few examples. However, when something causes your normally capable PC to be slow, sluggish, or barely work at all, none of this matters. You simply want your computer to work as it should.
Usually, the culprit for the sluggish computer blues is spyware. Spyware can be used to monitor what you're doing, get personal information from you, or slow your computer down to a crawl. Sometimes, you'll find that your computer settings change or you encounter way more pop-up ads than usual due to spyware, as well. Adware is similar in description and the amount of annoyance that it can call.
Then there's NoAdware, a product that claims to be able to remove spyware and adware from your computer, so that it will run the way that it is supposed to run. Supposedly, NoAdware fills gaps that normal antivirus programs may have; gaps which can allow spyware to infest your computer. Are these boasts true? Read on for our opinion.
Like many top anti-spyware programs today, NoAdware offers real time protection and scan scheduling, which is helpful. Scan scheduling allows you to pick the times when the program will scan your system for harmful and annoying spyware, to ensure that it doesn't affect what you are doing on the computer at those particular times. As far as the scans themselves go, NoAdware does a very good job of finding and removing spyware, so there are no complaints there.
One thing that you may like about NoAdware is that it is a once-in-a-lifetime purchase. Literally, it is. That's because you only have to pay once for NoAdware, and you will automatically get updates from that point on. This is contrasted with other programs that require yearly subscriptions.
It's hard to say that NoAdware is the best anti-spyware program on the market, especially with great products such as Spy Doctor out there. However, NoAdware is a good value for the money that it costs and it is one of the better anti-spyware programs out there. Definitely consider it if you are concerned about protecting your computer from spyware.
